About COEX Aquarium & Booking Enquiries

COEX Aquarium is a 'living museum' where you can experience ocean life. It is a perfect place to experience the vividness of the creatures, making it feel as if they are in their natural habitat. With inhabitants from rivers and oceans around the world, it is the largest marine theme park in Korea, boasting over 650 species and 40,000 marine animals. General admission tickets are available for visits to COEX Aquarium. Tickets are available for purchase here. Book direct to enjoy savings and direct entry into the attraction!

Adults (13 years and over) From ₩26,000 
Children (3-12 years old) From ₩23,000 

It usually takes about 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours to complete the aquarium. There are no restrictions on viewing time as long as they are within the opening hours.

Kindly note that the last entry time is 7pm, and re-entry is not possible, please keep that in mind when planning your visit.

Infants under 36 months of age are eligible for free admission if you bring a document that verifies the infant's date of birth, such as a copy of your resident registration or passport.

Please note that you must present documents when entering to receive free admission.

*Does not apply to groups of infants and toddlers.

Group rates are available for groups of 15 people or more.

The price varies depending on the group, so please call 02-700-7292 between 9am and 6pm on weekdays and a staff member will provide detailed information.

*Free admission does not apply to groups of infants and toddlers under 36 months.

We have a ticket counter available on site. To enjoy the best savings and skip the queues on your day of visit, we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance. You can buy your tickets to COEX Aquarium here.

No, your tickets will be sent via email immediately after the purchase. Simply show the QR code on your mobile to enter the attraction.

You will also be able to see your tickets in your profile at Under your profile, you can send tickets to your KakaoTalk account should you wish to (tickets will be sent to your own chat i.e. "me").

You will receive your confirmation email with your QR codes immediately after your purchase to the email address / account you used when purchasing. You can also view your tickets in your profile at Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. Full refunds can be processed in the case of unused tickets within 7 days from date of sale. No refunds can be processed after the ticket expiry date, even if the tickets are unused. If you need help with your tickets please contact Fever ticketing team here.  (fever cs number : 080-408-5173)

Visiting Coex Aquarium

COEX Aquarium is open all year round.

Opening hours are from 10am to 8pm, with the last admission time as 7pm.

Please be sure to check the opening hours as they are subject to change depending on circumstances.

Strollers are permitted for use within the COEX Aquarium. Please fold them briefly when using the escalators at the entrance and exit.

Stroller rental is available at COEX Mall. For more information, you can inquire at the COEX Stroller Rental Center at 02-6002-5312 for detailed assistance.

Wheelchair usage is available within the COEX Aquarium, and rentals are also possible.

We have a total of 3 wheelchairs available at COEX Aquarium for rental on a first-come first-served basis at the ticket office, please note that you must present identification when renting.

Additionally, wheelchair rentals are available at the COEX Mall Wheelchair Rental Center. For more details, please contact the COEX Stroller Rental Center at 02-6002-5312 for assistance.

This is a walkthrough experience, but if you need a little rest, you will be able to find some seats for you to have a break.

There is a restroom and nursing room at the entrance to the aquarium. To ensure a pleasant experience, we recommend visiting the restrooms before your visit.

Feel free to take photos / videos and share them! When taking photos, please avoid flash photography as it will confuses and may cause harm to the sea creatures we are working very hard to protect. Please also be considerate to other visitors when capturing your FIN-tastic moment. 

When sharing photos be sure to mention us or hashtag #COEXAQUARIUM for a chance to be featured! 

Yes! There is a shop available near the exit of the aquarium for you to purchase digital photos of your experience at the aquarium as well as gifts / merchandise. 

Balloons, outside food, kickboards/bicycles, and animal feed are not allowed.

In particular, external food / animal feed can pose a biosafety threat. Please be advised that if animal feed is confirmed to be brought in, you may be asked to leave immediately.

Yes, a cafe is available in COEX Aquarium for drinks and snacks. Please note that external food and drinks are not allowed in the aquarium. 

You can check lost & found items at the ticket office or call 02-700-7200.

*Requirements for handling lost items:

  • Receipt and handover of lost items are recorded and maintained in the lost item handling record for a certain period of time.
  • Lost items may be disposed of at will if the owner of the item does not pick it up for 14days.
  • Perishable foods may be disposed of at our discretion after the end of the day.
  • If goods or valuables are not claimed within 7 days, they will be transferred to the local police station.
  • All other matters related to handling lost items are subject to the Lost Items Act and practices.

By Subway

  • Line 9 Bongeunsa Station: Get off at Bongeunsa Station and exit through Exit 7. Enter COEX Mall and walk to the aquarium.
  • Line 2 (Green Line) Samseong Station: Get off at Samseong Station and exit through Exit 5. Enter COEX Mall and follow the signs to the aquarium.

By Bus

COEX East Gate Bus Stop:

By Car

Enter "COEX Aquarium" into your navigation system for easy directions.
There is parking available at COEX Mall. After parking, enter the mall to reach the aquarium.

The closest subway station to COEX Aquarium is Bongeunsa Station on Line 9 (Exit 7). You can also use Samseong Station on Line 2 (Exit 5), which is nearby.

Parking at COEX Aquarium

Parking is available in COEX Mall. The nearest parking lot to COEX Aquarium is the “COEX Mall North Gate Parking lot”, located in the “Blue Zone” second basement, sections 18-20.

When visiting the aquarium, enter your 4-digit license plate number at the parking discount machine inside the aquarium to receive a discount of 4,800 won for 4 hours (6,000 won per hour if unauthorized, and 1,500 won for each additional 15 minutes).

In case of vehicle recognition failure with the parking discount machine at COEX Aquarium, press the call button on the pre-payment device in the parking lot, and show the COEX Aquarium online ticket screen or receipt to apply the same discount.

A 15-passenger bus can be parked at COEX Mall, while large buses should use nearby parking lots (e.g., Jamsil Sports Complex Parking). If you park at COEX Mall, you can use it for up to 4 hours at a discounted rate of KRW 4,800. However, parking fees for large buses are not eligible for discounts in other areas outside of COEX Mall.
