코엑스아쿠아리움, 한가위 특별 이벤트 ‘보름달 원정대’ 진행해

‘상어들의 왕국’ 코엑스아쿠아리움이 대명절 한가위를 맞아 추석 연휴인 9월 30일(수)부터 10월 4일(일)까지 총 5일 간 프로모션 ‘보름달 원정대’를 진행한다.  

 

코엑스아쿠아리움은 추석 명절임에도 불구하고 고향에 가지 못한 이들을 위해 전시관 내에 한가위를 상징하는 ‘보름달’을 설치하여, 관람객들이 보름달을 바라보며 소원을 비는 것은 물론 기념 사진을 남길 수 있도록 특별 포토존을 마련한다고 밝혔다. 보름달은 ‘아마조니아월드 ‘Wish Place’, 딥블루광장, 그리고 해저터널 총 3개의 테마존에 설치되어 따뜻하고 정겨운 고향의 느낌을 물씬 느낄 수 있도록 할 예정이다.

 

또한 딥블루광장에서는 푸른 수조를 뒷배경으로 DJ의 청량감 넘치는 보이스를 더한 이색 라디오 ‘딥블루 보이는 라디오’를 신설해 운영한다. 추석 연휴 5일 간 매일 오후 5시에 진행되는 ‘보이는 라디오’는 관람객들이 해양 생물을 관람하면서 동시에 본인이 직접 작성한 사연과 선곡한 음악을 감상할 수 있도록 운영할 예정이다.

 

또한 코엑스아쿠아리움은 ‘보름달’을 연상하게 하는 생물 ‘해파리’(Moon Jelly)를 테마로 한 ‘해파리 운세 카드’를 관람객 전원에게 각 1매씩 증정한다.

 

현장에서는 3명 이상의 가족이 함께 방문하거나 쥐띠인 고객(동반 3인 포함)에게 30%의 할인 혜택을 제공하고, 3대가 함께 방문한 가족과 머나먼 고향으로 돌아가지 못한 주한 외국인들을 위해 40%의 할인 혜택을 제공한다.

 

코엑스아쿠아리움은 추석 연휴에도 고객들이 안전하게 관람할 수 있도록 하기 위해 전자출입 명부 시행, 전시관 소독 수시 진행, 전시관 내 마스크 착용 의무화 등 철저한 방역 활동에 최선을 다 할 예정이다.

Special Chuseok  Event, “Harvest  Moon  Expedition” at COEX Aquarium

“Enjoy watching a full moon equivalent of your hometown at COEX Aquarium!

It may present you a merry Chuseok!”

 

 

During five-day Chuseok holiday that starts Sept. 30 and ends Oct. 4, COEX Aquarium, ‘the largest shark habitat’ in Korea, held a special Chuseok event, “Harvest Moon Expedition” to celebrate the upcoming Chuseok Day, the Korean version of Thanksgiving Day.

 

COEX Aquarium announced this new promotion for the people who are unavailable to visit their hometown over this Chuseok, that provides artificial ‘Harvest Moon’ installations at ‘Wish Places’ in three theme zones; Amazonia World, Deep Blue Square, and Deep blue see Tunnel. Guests visiting Aquarium can make a wish as well as they can take souvenir photos at each special photo zones. Since ‘Harvest Moon’ is a full moon that symbolizes Chuseok, visitors may enjoy a hometown-like, warm, and friendly atmosphere.

 

Additionally, in Deep Blue Square theme zone, a blue water tank as its background, DJ will host an unique radio show, ‘Deep Blue Visible Radio.’ His attractive voice and his stint will invite live audiences at every 5pm for 5 days of this promotion. If an audience writes letter or selects the music when he meets exhibited aquatic living creatures, his chosen stories or songs would to be heard by radio waves.

 

COEX Aquarium will also present a “Jellyfish Fortune Card” to all visitors.  This card is depicting ‘Moon Jellyfish,’ a creature reminiscent of a ‘full moon.’

 

At the box office, a 30% discount is provided to customers who are visiting together with three or more family members and/or to a customer who was born in the Year of the Rat (including his three companions).  At the same check-in spot, it offers a 40% discount for three generational household visited together and/or for any foreigners living in Korea who could not return to his distant hometown.

 

 To ensure that customers can safely visit COEX Aquarium during this Chuseok, COEX Aquarium will do its best to carry out thorough and extensive quarantine activities completely, such as listing full electronic entry lists, frequent disinfecting and sterilizing all exhibition halls, and obligating customers to wear masks at any places.
